Description
The article calls for a stronger cross walk between public administration and public health as both disciplines will be necessary to combat pandemic disease outbreaks both as a result of natural vectors and bioterrorism. Public health leaders and public administrators should be working closely together and those relationships can begin by linking certain courses in each discipline's academic programs and sponsoring section chairs in each discipline's professional associations such as the American Public Health Association and the American Society for Public Administration.
